An Answered Prayer

I just received a message that Tim was getting his MRI today around noon. Gordy said that they don't normally do them on weekends, but someone else needed one and since the crew was there they were going to do Tim as well. This is very good news.

Please continue to pray for Tim's cooperation with the doctors and nurses.

Also I am going to set the blog so you can post comments. I thought that way you as friends and family can post prayers or notes to Tim and his family. I will make sure that they get copies of all the comments.

Hello Gordy and Sandy,

Continue to know that you are both in my prayers, even as Tim is very much on my heart. I am encouraged by the news of the MRI being rescheduled for today...God is gracious.

I have had the privilege of getting to know Tim through classes, as my chapel worship team leader last year, and especially as a godly brother and friend. His graduation in April will mean the loss of a Christ-minded man to the community of Taylor...but gain for greater community of Christ as he serves Jesus in a church.

May the joy of the Lord be your strength, especially in light of the emotional rollercoaster ride you are no doubt experiencing these days.

Yours because I'm His,

Hello Gordie, Sandy and Tim,

The Dickau care group prayed for you this morning. What a blessing Tim could have the MRI today instead of waiting.

Debra and Brent were very gracious with everyone's questions this morning (as of course I knew they would be).

I am praying for you all.

Sandy, Cathy and Linda and I are especially lifting you up. Our hearts are there with you.

God bless you,

Love,

Jackie

Hey, to anyone who reads this, there are so many peple praying right now for Tim. Lots of people from school are praying. Both of my churches are praying, one in Edmonton, one in Northern AB. My youth group has been praying all weekend. The Christian Spirituality retreat prayed. All of this is just the tip of the iceberg I am sure.
God has been petitioned, and is in control.
May he be glorified.

Hello Bauslaugh family,
What a blessing you all are. Especially Tim, but the whole family is in my continual thoughts and prayers. We have a faithful God, and I am so happy to see all the trust that is being put into Him during this time. May the Lord be your strength and comfort. You are all dearly loved. Remind Tim even in the hours when he is not awake that he is loved dearly!

Trusting in Christ,
Jamie Lambert

Hi Sandy and Gordy:

Just to let you know we are praying. What a blessing the MRI could be done today. We are praying for Tiem, the Dr's involved and for the two of you. "May the God of Hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit." Rom. 15:13
We really identify with what you are going through right now.

Love, Carolyn and John

As one of Tim's closest friends, this has been one of the hardest weekends of my life! Tim always tells me that "God is Sovereign" in times of great difficulty and we're working hard to remember that in this time. God is doing amazing work in Tim's life and I'm so excited for the things He will continue to do. We are praying for Tim so much, and also for Mr. and Mrs. Bauslaugh and Deb, Lance and Brent who can't be here. I know it must be so difficult!
Dennis, thanks so much for setting this up and keeping us posted. It means the world to us! Let me know when we can see him okay?
Tim, you are a great man, a man of integrity and we are better people for having you in our lives.

Today @ 5:00 PM we will be praying the Lords Prayer, (Psalm 23) and lifting up Tim in a healing prayer and we will continue to do so everyday until Tim is healed. Amen! For God will touch Tim with His mighty Healing Hand and he will be healed! We have faith and trust in our Heavenly Father. For where two or more agree....Matt 18:19.
God be with us and the entire Bauslaugh family.
Our love,
Dick and Lorraine

I can't wait until Tim gets to read all of these comments. What a blessing it will be for him to know how many people are praying for him right now.
We, of course are praying for Tim and are feeling the prayers of others for us as well.

Hi Bauslaugh family,
My heart breaks for you all at such a hard time. Tim is constantly in my prayers, as is the rest of the family. If there is anything I can do to make this time easier please don't hesitiate to let me know (Debra can get a hold of me).
Timmy B, stand strong. You have always shown amazing strength of character, fighting against the 'villians' in your life and you can do it again. I know you can.

Tim, Gordie & Sandy,

We love you and are praying for you, as are the whole church. The "tone" in church this morning was really mixed ... everyone was glad to hear Garry speak and see John T. baptized, but they are all very concerned and seriously praying as well.

We will keep our "knees to the turf"!

PS. Gordie,
Sandra and I visited Neil before we went up to Barachah, he is getting better. Also, as I told Grant, I will be ready to preach on Sunday, if needed, so no worries, okay.

Love In Christ,
John & Sandra

Gordy & Sandy,

We really enjoyed getting to know Tim when he served at Century Baptist this past year. How shocked we were to get the news from Bob W. and then from our daughter, Michelle, of his illness. Be assured that we are praying hard for him and for you, too.

Hello Tim and Family,

I wanted to let you all know that we're praying for you here in Surrey, BC, too. My parents, small group, and myself are all in this with you.

May God grant you, the family, abounding comfort, abundant faith, and steady patience through this ordeal.

And Tim, may the God who created you and knows your inmost being bring healing and restoration to your body. You're an amazing man of God.

God bless you all richly,
Evelyn

Hey Timmy B.

This is Aaron Leakey. I just wanted to say I love ya bro. You have always been an amazing friend to me. An example to me in so many ways, but also a brother through it all. Someone to hang with, laugh with, dream with, chat with. I appriciated when you thought of songs for all of us that described us. I am So glad we got to go on the roadtrip to Calgary this reading week! It was funny when you tried to stare down those lions at the zoo! Dude we ate so much food too. Plus you got your tongue pierced, that was unexpected! (j/j)

Well bro, I am gonna keep leaving messages until I can visit.

I love ya man

Tim, it is crazy to think that thursday night a bunch of us were praying together and that only 3 days later literally thousands of people are praying for you, your family and the doctors; not only people in North America my friend, but even people in the Netherlands, Cuba, Mexico etc. It seems as though we can do so little for you now, but God does hear every one of our prayers and He promised that "He will watch over your life" (Psalm 121:7b). It is clear that all these people are entrusting you into God's care - and it's pretty cool to know that no one else could take better care of you right now. So stay strong bro and make sure you fight a little!

I love you Tim, and I am praying for you. I remember in one of my most trying times you pointed out my "hope" ornament that hangs in my car. As I talked with you, you pointed it out and reminded me that "hope", especially "hope in Christ" keeps us going....God has a special plan for you Tim. He has already used you, is using you, and will continue to use you. Don't ever give up on "hope". Love, Aunt Patty
