Great News!

I happened to be at the hospital an hour ago to pick up Brent, Deborah and Lance to take them to the airport when Tim received the official word that he was being discharged from the hospital.

Tim and Sandy will be staying at the home of Bob Walther, the Regional Minister of the Alberta Baptist Association until Gordy arrives to take him back to Washington.

Tim is going to try and arrange a time that he can go to Taylor before leaving so he can see everyone there.

Keep praying for complete recovery, but Tim is a walking, talking, piano playing miracle!

Tim we wanted to let you know that all the Bergers have been praying for you. The boys think you are the best big brother of all time. They want us to leave town so you can watch them again. When Alex(10)was getting ready to play the piano at church he said "I'm going to be like Tim".

Wow! Is God ever amazing! He has worked a miracle and we Praise Him!! Sandy, you are an awesome mom and it has been a pleasure getting to know you. God bless you as you continue to be the rock to your family that I know you are. Us mom's have the best job in the world! And it is great to see the times in life where God is so gracious to us with regards to our kids. The way He has a plan for their lives like he does with Tim. To watch God use our kids and to present situations in their lives where they learn to trust Him and love Him even more. It's totally amazing!
God bless you and the family.
We continue to pray for you.

Tim,
I am so happy that you are able to go home and be with your family. It truly is a miracle. To Tim's family,I think that you are amazing people. The love that you have for Tim, and for God is astounding and the fact that you still took the time to thank all of us for our prayers only proves how wonderful you are. I check every day on the blog to see how Tim has been doing and will do so until he gets safely home. I continue to keep you all in my prayers. From Augustana University Camrose,

You are such a fine young man. I am very happy you are recovering. I have heard that you have been a testimony to others during your ordeal. I remember back to when we met at the grade school. You and Justin Dickau taught me so much, and I was suppose to be the teacher. My prayers are with you for a rapid recovery.
