Monday Update

Gordy called and spoke to Joanne this morning with an update. There is some concern this morning about Tim. There was a slight mishap last night and Tim aspirated some food into his lungs. Due to this he has been placed back on the ventilator and there is some concern of pneumonia at this time. They will be sedating Tim more to help with the ventilator and to be able to possibly deal with the pneumonia.

Tim did come to last night and remembered his last name and what month it was, but there still seems to be much confusion for him.

The family is asking for clear lungs and clear mind.

May God use this experience to make you stronger in him and encourage your family with his awesome works.

Tim and family and friends of Tim,

God bless you! Tim, you impacted my life in such a godly way when we went to school togeter at Taylor. Although we weren't close friends, it was evident that you love God very much, and your character as a person testified to a heart that longed to please God. In all honesty, there were some times in my walk at Taylor where I was going through some really rough spots, and I would think "What would Tim do?" I am praying and will continue to pray for all of you in this time, and to ask others I know to do so as well. We serve an awesome God! Whatever He decides, I know this much..Tim wouldn't have any other way.

" I will betroth you to me forever;
I will betroth you in righteousness and justice,
In love and compassion.
I will betroth you in faithfulness,
And you will acknowlege the LORD."
Hosea 2:19-20

"You see, at just the right time, when we were still powerless, Christ died for the ungodly. Very rarely will anyone die for a righteous man, though for a good man someone might possibly die. But God demonstrates his love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us." Romans 5:6-8

" I will not leave you as orphans. I will come to you." (Jesus)
John 14:18

" Do not let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God, trust also in me." (Jesus)
John 14:1

" I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world!" (Jesus)

Your prayers for good decisions regarding who & if some of the family should travel up there would be greatly appreciated. Our hearts and prayers are there, but at the same time, the practicality of it all the details at home are constraining.

Heavenly Father,

I would like to lift up Tim and his family to you Lord. You've said that where 2 or 3 gather in my name, there I will be. I don't know if the world wide web counts, Father, but here we have gathered just the same. So I boldy pray in Your Son's name for a quick and full recovery for Tim. Whether by a miracle from Your gracious hands, or through the Holy Spirit guiding the hands and minds of the doctors involved. Father, if it be your will, I pray for this recovery.

I also pray, Lord, for the Bauslaughs. You say that when You hear our cries You are pulled in close. That You draw near to the broken-hearted. Well, Father, I pray that not only would be drawn nearer to them, but that You would hear our prayers and lift them up in Your arms and carry them through.

Thank you, Father for hearing these prayers, and I thank you in advance for answering them. . .

Gordie Sandy and Tim,

I'm rarely at a loss for words but I am today. I'm sure you know that Sally and I have been praying since Friday. I was surprised by the dept of the response at OVBC Sunday morning. Tim had built a lot of relationships when he was here in the summer of 2004. Far more than I was aware of. Those relationship combined with the events around Logan probably made us feel it more deeply. There were some tears, but also a determination to pray fervently for Tim. We love you.

Gordie, Sandy, & Tim,

I am once again reminded of the the depth of the NAB Conference AND the body of Christ. There are people praying for you EVERYWHERE! Josh told me that they prayed for Tim in Children's Church and in Sunday School yesterday.

Psalm 121:1&2 have come to my mind several times over the last couple of days. Please know that our family is praying for the entire Bauslaugh family!

Gord & family - Tim is currently on the prayer list at the Canopy, here in Edmonton. We are standing with you all before the Father.

Lord Jesus, in your name I ask for a miracle. Father, stretch out your hand to heal in the mighty name of your servant, Jesus. Holy Spirit, come and bring the comfort and peace that only You can bring, both to Tim and to his family. Bring wisdom to all of the doctors and nurses who are involved, and stir up faith and hope amongst all of those who call on the Father in Jesus' name.

In the Name of Jesus, Amen.

I just finished reading the latest update and everyone's comments and I have tears streaming down my face... Tim I don't think you have any idea of how much you are loved. There are literally hundreds of people praying for you right now! I wish that I could be by your side during this traumatic ordeal, and I promise that I'll be there as soon as they will let your friends in! In the meantime, I will continue to perpetually lift you and your family up to our sovereign Lord and Saviour, and TRUST that He has every detail in the palm of His hand. I can't stop thinking about our conversation on Thursday and how you said to me with that twinkle in your eye, "My life is such an adventure." This is one ride I'm sure you were not counting on bro, but I am confident that God will use these circumstances in your life to exponentially impact the Kingdom! There are SO many things I admire in you Tim... your CONSISTENT integrity, humility, devotion to the purposes of Christ, musical passion, and wacky sense of humour to name a few. You are one of the most loyal and best friends I have ever had. You have been an immense encouragement to me over the last 3 years as we've journeyed together at Taylor. That song you wrote for me was one of the most beautiful things anyone has ever done for me. You are the epitomy of a true friend and brother in Christ. Keep fighting Tim!!! We believe in you and everyone can't wait to have you back!

To the Bauslaugh family - may the peace of God which transcends all human understanding be yours to the fullest at this time.

Love and prayers,

Gary Friesen reminded me/us this past weekend and during Sunday's message just how soverign our God is! He knows all, He doesn't ask us to understand, He only asks us to trust Him and Him alone. He owes us no apologies for what He allows to enter our lives. He uses us inspite of ourselves, in ways we would never imagine. I don't believe Tim would ever know who and how much he has touched others. I also don't think Gordie, Sandy and the rest of the Bauslaugh family would know how much they are loved. This is TERRIBLE, and it brings us to our knees, which is WONDERFUL! You are not alone, you are each Tim, Gordie, Sandy, Lance, Katie, Debra, and Brent, being bathed in prayer. There are no words of comfort or explanation. There are prayers for helaing and PEACE.
Our love to each of you, in His mighty hands.

It is so hard to know that you are going through this difficult time so far from your church family. Sandy knows that Tim has always been very special to me. We have talked about it many times. He is a young man that God has greatly gifted. God has his hand on Tim. I wish I could be there to squeeze his hand and tell him he has come through difficulties before, he can do it again. I am praying for all of you.
