Tuesday Afternoon Encouraging

Gordy just called with some encouraging words. They had met wtih one of the doctors that gave them some encouraging news about Tim's prognosis. They have pretty much ruled out that Tim had a seizure yesterday. They believe that his blood preassure spiked due to the pneumonia.

For now the main concern is the pneumonia. Because of the pneumonia he remains sedated and on the ventilator.

Tim is much more responsive and much more calm than before and this is very good news. He is responding to simple commands and even smiling at his dad's corny jokes.

Please keep praying for the situation with the pneumonia.

Did you ever stop to think,
That God says "Wait on Me"?
We get so busy Serving Him,
We don't spend time at his Knee.

So in this time of waiting,
When Life makes us stop and pray.
Listen to the Savior's voice
Take rest in His arms today.

Please Pray with Us,

God, guide us in our lives today,
And help us to obey Your call
We've gathered here, three or more
Trusting You as Sovereign over all.

God, we ask in Your Holy Name, today
To Restore Tim’s life and health anew.
Give him the Miracle of this Witness
As he continues his Service to You.

May all our lives be changed, Lord.
As we embrace the Life we’re given.
May Your Name be glorified, Lord
On Earth as it is in Heaven!!

In Our Heavenly Father’s name

Luv You All,

Hey Tim...I don't know if you remember me, but I know you as "Timmy" and have vivid memories of you running around after Lance and Cody at your house and our house in Wheaton, Illinois. I and my husband, Jason, are praying for your speedy recovery and wisdom for the doctors to help get you there. We live in Lemoore, California right now but next weekend are moving to Bridgeport, Texas, about an hour west of where Lance and Katie live now. Godon and Sany Bauslaugh,
We have been praying for your son. Know that he will recover with so many Christian praying. Can't believe the years have passed so fast. I remember Lance, but wonder if Tim was born after you left Village Green.

Yes Bobbie and I are still at Village Green where you once served as a youth pastor. We are in the proces of hiriing a new youth pastor and worship leader named Aaron Clark and he came to our house for lunch Sunday. We found out he loves chicken and I remembered how much you loved Bobbie's chicken dish.

Praise God that there is improvement. I'm continuing to pray for healing for Tim and peace and comfort for the whole family. Psalm 121 has always brought me comfort when I am hurting. I hope it encourages you too.
Psalm 121:
"I lift up my eyes to the hills— where does my help come from? 2 My help comes from the LORD, the Maker of heaven and earth. 3 He will not let your foot slip—
he who watches over you will not slumber; 4 indeed, he who watches over Israel will neither slumber nor sleep. 5 The LORD watches over you— the LORD is your shade at your right hand; 6 the sun will not harm you by day, nor the moon by night. 7 The LORD will keep you from all harm— he will watch over your life; 8 the LORD will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore."

I know God is watching over all of you.

You are a fighter. You fight for friendships, truth, integrity, and you will fight your way through this.
I know that lately you've been anxious about getting a job once you graduate, you've been so ready to get out there and serve. BUT, through everyone's comments and through the way you live your life, it is so evident that you ARE serving a ministry, the ministry of your life. Your whole heart is passionate about pursuing God's kingdom in all that you do. So keep fighting and I'll see you soon (remember I still owe you that Blizzard...)

The Bauslaugh Family,
As you already know, you have a massive support around you, continually lifting you up in prayer. Be encouraged, because you have a power behind you that is greater than anything that this world can come up with.

May all the grace and power of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you as you press on,

I'm so glad to hear you're doing better. I'm sure God is teaching you so much through this. Isn't it amazing the things that God can do even through the most difficult of circumstances? As I was praying for you today, I thought of our song (clearly MWS), Straight to the Heart, and the line "Real friends will never truly be apart/You were there in my darkest time of need/With a hand reaching straight to the heart". Although I can't be beside you, you are always with me, in my thoughts and prayers (and last night you were even running around in one of my dreams!!), and I'll always be with you in your dark times.
Get better soon, because I do believe you challenged me to another game of "putt putt" so that you can save your wounded ego!
My prayers are with you and your amazing family always.

Love always,

It has been great to see the prayer support you and the family have recieved over the last few days.
When Lance gets up there, he will give you a big hug from his girls.

This is Adam and Ty here at Taylor.

Adam: Psalm 139: 14-18 14 I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful,I know that full well. 15 My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place. When I was woven together in the depths of the earth,16 your eyes saw my unformed body. All the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be.17 How precious to [b] me are your thoughts, O God!How vast is the sum of them!18 Were I to count them, they would outnumber the grains of sand. When I awake,
I am still with you.

Psalms 121 says I look to the hills, where does my help come from? My help comes from the LORD. Who gives me strength? My strength comes from you.

Tim, these are the two verses that have stuck out in my mind as I have been praying for you, and every time I read them I am encouraged to see what God has been doing through you, and also what God has planned for you. Can't wait till you back, God bless.

Ty: Vivaldi rocks! I put all your food in the freezer, ya that's right, you got one huge brick o' milk waiting for ya buddy. God has been everywhere in this- you playing football, being near a great hospital, the peace and strength your family have had. Thank the Lord for His help. Can't wait to see ya, Ty.
