Tuesday Update

I just talked to Gordy and there is not much change this morning. Tim is steady and they hope to slowly take him off of the sedatives again today, so once again they are asking for Tim to have a calm spirit and a clear mind. They would also ask that you keep praying for clear lungs. They have lowered the level of antibiotics Tim is on for the pneumonia, they feel that it is not as severe as they initially thought.

There is praise for the fact that Deborah and Brent arrived safely last night and are with Tim and the family now.

Gordy and the family expressed again how wonderful it was to read all of your comments and prayers on the blog. They do request that you state where you are from when you right so all might see the amazing expanse of the prayers for Tim and the family.

The Stolikers of Tacoma, Washington are remembering Tim in our prayers. He was a summer intern at Olympic View Baptist and we loved having him there and hearing him play the piano. May our great and glorious God look with favor on His servant, Tim.

Hello Bauslaugh family. We just wanted to let you know that you are each in our prayers. We are praying that the doctors will have wisdom and that the Lord would give you all strength. Tim - we are praying for your quick recovery.

Debra - we have been thinking of you a TON. Our prayers go out to you as you stand by your brother. If you need ANYTHING at all let us know. We can always deliver a home cooked meal if the hospital food is getting tiresome. If you need to get a hold of us for any reason our home number is 434-1470 or Andrea's work is 496-1856. We are great at running errands.

Our love and prayers are with you. May you experience the presence of our God on this day.

Please know that God is working and we are praying for clarity in this situation. We are already praying for Tim and for the rest of your family as we know that it is extremely taxing on your own well-being. So joyful to hear that things are relatively heading towards Tim being ok. Tim's family I am praying for you as you go through this hard time. May you be comforted by the Holy Spirit and may God, our Great Physician, heal Tim.

To Tim, man do I miss you!!! Jesus and the Gospels class will not be the same without you sitting beside me! I'll make sure to bring my Bible and say a corny joke just for you (falling stars, red carpet... no one but you Tim!)! I can't wait for your laughter and good heart to be around Taylor again.
Much love and prayer, Stephanie Leverette, Edmonton

We so much wish that we could be with you at this time of great concern for Tim. If it were possible, we would be there now.
Last nite during the prayer time, it became clear to us that your kids are our kids, and we earnestly pray for God's healing touch on Tim and may His grace continue to be sufficient as we wait on His Healing Touch.

Did you ever stop to think,
That God says "Wait on Me"?
We get so busy Serving Him,
We don't spend time at his Knee.

So in this time of waiting,
When Life makes us stop and pray.
Listen to the Savior's voice
Take rest in His arms today.

Please Pray with Us,

God, guide us in our lives today,
And help us to obey Your call
We've gathered here, three or more
Trusting You as Sovereign over all.

God, we ask in Your Holy Name, today
To Restore Tim’s life and health anew.
Give him the Miracle of this Witness
As he continues his Service to You.

May all our lives be changed, Lord.
As we embrace the Life we’re given.
May Your Name be glorified, Lord
On Earth as it is in Heaven!!

In Our Heavenly Father’s name
AMEN …

Here is a little music to encourage us all!

Arist: Delirious
Song Title: Rain down

Looks like tonight, the sky is heavy
feels like the winds, are gonna change
Beneath my feet, the Earth is ready
I know it's time, for heavens rain.
It's gonna rain, yeah yeah

Cause living water we desire,
to flood our hearts with holy fire

Rain down,
all around the world we're singing
Rain down,
can you hear the Earth is singing
Rain down,
my heart is dry but still i'm singing
Rain down,
rain it down on me.

Back to the start, my heart is heavy
Feels like it's time, to dream again
I see the clouds, and yes i'm ready
To dance upon, this barren land
Hope in my hands, yeah yeah

Cause living water we desire,
to flood our hearts with holy fire

Rain down, all around the world we're singing
Rain down, can you hear the Earth is singing
Rain down, my heart is dry but still i'm singing
Rain down, rain it down

Do not shut, do not shut,
do not shut, the heavens
But open up, open up, open up, our hearts
Rain down, all around the world we're singing
Rain down

(Rain down)
Give me strength to cross this water,
keep my heart upon your altar
rain down
(Rain down)
Give me strength to cross this water
keep my feet,
don't let me falter
rain down

(Hey,'ey,'ey)

Do not shut the heavens
But open up our hearts, open up our hearts,
Do not shut the heavens
But open up out hearts, open up my heart.

Pastor Gordy, Sandy, and family,
I want you to know you are in my prayers and thoughts. As a mom I can't imagine going through something like this with your child, but I also know that God gives you what you need at the time. The Prayer Service last night for Tim and your family was a blessing. You are all so wrapped in prayer. I am blessed that the Lord led me to Christ Community Baptist to be a part of the family.
God Bless you all.

Tim - Wow! It's amazing how many people from all over the place you have praying for you! You are SO loved, and I hope you know that. We miss you so much at school, but we are all praying with faith that God will do a great healing work in your life. When you come back, we'll have to have another improv party (I'm pretty sure you are the best actor I know, esp. your impression of Gord...I used it in my impression of you haha). Until then, hang in there, and know that the next time you step foot into this school, I'm pretty sure you'll be absolutely mobbed by all the people who miss you and love you so much!

God is so good and it is amazing to see how many people are lifting a brother in Christ up in prayer. So yesterday Deborah happened to stop in at the bank where I work and said that her brother had a medical emergency and she was trying to get to Canada. And then this morning I get on myspace and one of my friends has posted that this guy named Tim was suffering internal bleeding. You are being covered in prayer and people all over the world are truely praying for you all. "God is bigger than, the air I breathe, the world we'll leave, God will save the day, and all will say, my Glorious, my Glorious." God is so good and has the whole family wrapped in the shelter of His wings. God is so faithful to meet us during every moment, every trial, every medical mystery. I am praying for a miracle. What a testimony for Tim. Be blessed and encouraged.

Deborah... I told Vicky and she is praying too. I am so glad you were able to be with your family. You will have to come in again when you get back to P-town. Take care sista friend.

Psalm 103
"1 Praise the LORD, O my soul;all my inmost being, praise his holy name. 2 Praise the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits- 3 who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases,
4 who redeems your life from the pit and crowns you with love and compassion,5 who satisfies your desires with good things so that your youth is renewed like the eagle's. 6 The LORD works righteousness and justice for all the oppressed. 7 He made known his ways to Moses, his deeds to the people of Israel: 8 The LORD is compassionate and gracious, slow to anger, abounding in love."

Hello, My name is Cassie D. and last august my little brother Elijah (age3) was in ICU at Children's hosptial in Seattle for 3 weeks. When he arrived there he was not expected to make it through the night, the night turned into 72hrs, the hours turned into days.I praise the Lord for the Prayers of his people in 5 countries, 10 states and more churches than i can count. I grew up in Puyallup and have a friend who sent me your name and prayer request. When i came to the site, and read today's blog, the Lord put Psalm 103 on my heart to share with you. "he HEALS..." May his hand be apon you all and Tim. Today, my little Elijah is 4 years old and in preschool. He only has a few scars from the meningitis... I thank the Lord for his healing hand, and for the prayers around the world. may you soon experiance the same Joy!

We gotta get you back into All-Star Indoor Soccer Goalie form, then maybe we'll get a game of "The Impossible Shot" going on, maybe even some fooseball eh? Don't worry about the Red Wings they are still going strong and are a good pick to win it all this year. I'm sure you'll be back to cheer them to victory. Bauslaughs...You have been on my mind so much lately. I pray that God will give you peace during this situation and that God will heal Tim fully. As you know, we had a similar but not nearly as intense situation as you with Rob, prior to Christmas...so I can somewhat understand what you are going through. It's certainly unexpected and we hope that God gives Tim the same healing as He did Rob. It's hard to believe that I have known you for so many years now...so even though we are far away I remember you fondly...and always enjoy seeing you when visiting my parents in WA. You are in our prayers - us personally and those of our church and Growth Group.

From Ed and Dianne Weber
Four years ago our son, Sean, was in a coma for four days. We feel your frustration. But, with it there is a a peace and even a joy that only God Himself can give. We know that God has a much better view of things than we do and can see the outcome. We grew in our relationship with God and with each other during this time. Our son has recovered from his injuries but the image of him laying helpless on the bed reminds me of how much God loves His people and how much greater He is then us. Tim was and is a part of OVBC because of his service with us. We are praying that God will heal him and restore him to even greater things.

Tim,

You're in my thoughts and prayers. I've also asked my church and small group to remember you in their prayers. Watching the way that you've sought to live your life as a testament to Christ has always been an encouragement to me. One verse that has continually come to mind when I've thought of you these past few days is: "And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to his purpose." - Romans 8:28. There is no doubt in my mind that you love God with a passion that many aspire to. He has his hand on your life and I'm trusting Him to work in this situation to bring glory to His name through his infinite wisdom.

Your ministry at Century Baptist Churck in Bismarck is one place of many you have influenced many. We miss your smile, your laugh, your spirit of fun (on stage doing a children's musical sample with the pastors - using nerf poles on each other), and your sharing of your God given music abilities.

Pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying fo all the saints.

Tim - is it awesome or what? - to realize how many of God's saints are praying for you and for your family!

Philippians 1:9-11
And this is my prayer: that your love may abound more and more in knowledge and depth of insight, so that you may be able to discern what is best and may be pure and blameless until the day of Christ, filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ - to the glory and praise of God.
